Recently, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas released the results of the national routine quality and safety monitoring (risk monitoring) of agricultural products in 2021. The monitoring data showed that the qualified rate of routine monitoring of agricultural products in 2021 was 97.6%, and the quality and safety of agricultural products in China remained stable as a whole. It was reported that in 2021, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas organized three national routine quality and safety monitoring of agricultural products.
Throughout the year, a total of 2095 vegetable and fruit tea production bases, 1340 vegetable and fruit transport vehicles, 634 slaughterhouses, 443 farms, 1778 aquatic product transport vehicles into temporary ponds, 2086 agricultural product wholesale (agricultural trade) markets in 200 large and medium-sized cities in 31 provinces were monitored, and 114 varieties, 130 parameters and 22127 samples of vegetable, fruit, tea, livestock products and aquatic products were sampled. The monitoring results show that the qualified rates of water spinach, fruit, tea, livestock and poultry products and aquatic products are 97.1%, 96.5%, 98%, 98.8% and 96.9% respectively. From the monitoring varieties, all water spinach are qualified, and the qualified rates of cabbage, edible fungi, root vegetables, eggplant fruits and melons are 99.9%, 99.2%, 98.7%, 98.7% and 98.6%. The qualified rates of pork, pig liver, beef, mutton, isolated meat and poultry eggs were 99.4%, 99.4%, 98.5%, 99.6%, 98.8% and 97.4% respectively. Among the bulk aquaculture aquatic products sampled, tilapia and silver carp are all qualified, and the qualified rates of fish, prawn and mandarin fish are 998%, 99.5% and 98.6% respectively.
